Ensure that: The file is not open already. We cannot believe that we are the only ones that try to migrate without rebuilding all their content. Adobe Captivate could not open FileName.cptx. Maybe there is an "import a HTML5 project" or an "import a SWF project" somewhere?

Or maybe you have a hidden (developer) feature that allows to reuse as much as possible. I am aware that Camtasia does not support the Captivate files by default but maybe you can offer best practices or intermediate file formats to migrate as much of the content as possible. Is there a way to reuse the content? When we need to change something small (like a typo) in one of our eLearnings we do not want to recreate all of the content just because we bought a new tool. We are considering to migrate from Adobe Captivate to Camtasia but we already have a lot of content in Captivate mainly eLearning content with buttons for "next step", mouse over events and quizzes.
